The members' identities are still unknown, as their faces have never been made public. In their only performance on TV-U Fukushima's music show Music Bar Palo Palo (broadcast on January 19, 2007), the group even went as far as censoring their faces during the performance. One notable characteristic is that none of the members have ever shown their faces in the public sphere as a part of GReeeeN, whether in their promotional videos, CDs, television performances, or the Internet.

Īccording to their website at Universal Music Japan, their catch phrase is " Rock 'n' Breakbeats with four microphones". The sound production is handled by HIDE's older brother JIN, a former guitarist of Pay money To my Pain. Their logo image is of a mouthful of teeth, and the four "e" indicate the number of members and the dentition that you can see when you smile because of all of them were graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry. They made their debut with Universal Music in 2007. Stating the reason is to keep their dentistry and musical careers separate, they have however hinted at making an appearance once they have all passed the prefectural examination in dentistry and receive permission from the directors of the hospitals they work for.Greeeen (stylized as GR eeeeN) is a Japanese vocal group from Kōriyama in Fukushima Prefecture, comprising the all-male four members: HIDE, navi, 92 (read as "kuni"), and SOH. One interesting fact about GReeeeN is that they keep their identity’s concealed even going as far as having their faces censored in a TV appearance. It later went on to be the best selling full track digital single in Japan. Their most popular song is properly kiseki (キセキ)which was used in the drama Rookies and was ranked at number one on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 singles yearly chart 2008.

The group is made up of Hide, Navi, 92 and soh all of which have studied dentistry at Ohu University of Fukushima pretty weird history for a pop group if you ask me.

GReeeeN are J-pop band I have been a fan of for sometime, their music is more on the rock side of J-pop not heavy but certainly not poppy like Arashi.
